1. Orders and billing records
SaaS subscriptions, store purchases and eligible customer-portal transactions use an order or transaction reference that connects payment and billing records.
2. United States
United States transactions follow the normal commercial invoice or receipt workflow. Mexico SAT/CFDI fiscal invoicing is not required for the standard U.S. flow.
3. Mexico CFDI 4.0
Mexico customers may request CFDI only for eligible orders and when the applicable issuer has Mexico invoicing enabled. The customer signs in and uses the order number to begin the request.
4. Fiscal profile
RFC, legal name, fiscal ZIP code, tax regime, CFDI use and billing email are entered in the authenticated account. Customers are responsible for providing current and accurate fiscal information.
5. Markshles vs tenant issuer
When Markshles is the seller, the Markshles billing configuration applies. When a tenant is the seller, that tenant may configure its own eligible Factura.com issuer credentials, separate from Markshles and other tenants.
6. CFDI lifecycle
Eligible issuance, cancellation, substitution, credit notes and related notifications follow the configured Mexico invoicing workflow and applicable fiscal rules.
7. Notifications and delivery
Billing documents and status notifications may be delivered through enabled account, email or other configured communication channels.
8. Accuracy and compliance
Users and issuers are responsible for reviewing fiscal information and determining their tax obligations. Platform tools facilitate workflows but do not replace professional tax advice.
